We’ve got some great new stuff coming up for all of you. I know it’s been a while since our last update, so this one is going to be BIG. We’ll not only have new songs in the On Demand player, (How many? In the HUNDREDS,) but we’ll also have some great new artists, and new genres coming up. Keep an eye on SalinasRadio.com. You won’t want to miss these updates.
After a LONG move, SalinasRadio is finally back up and running! We still aren’t 100%, but we’re off to a good start! While our live streams are not yet up and running, our On Demand Player is working fine. Given the amount of popularity the On Demand Player has gained, and the current generation of listeners we are entertaining, we may even work towards making all of our music available On Demand and do away with the live streams all together. We’ll see. 
For now though, we’ll work on getting the streams back up, getting some new bands promoted, featuring some new music in our On Demand Player, and hopefully setting up some more shows!

There is going to be a HUGE show on November 13th at Giovane’s Restaurant in Salinas. At MC Cambio’s CD release show, you’ll get to see not only Mr. Cambio himself, but the entire Para La Gente crew, including Bocafloja, straight out of Mexico City, and vocalist Shannon Michele! Realization will also be there along with DJ Mike J (spinning soul and funk) and special guests.
It’s an 18 and over show, and will cost only $7 for entrance.

Para La Gente (PLG)
Hey everyone, we just wanted to let you know that we’ll be writing a review pretty soon on Para La Gente‘s CD, People Living Growing. I would have waited for the review to get some promo out for these guys, but I’ve been listening to it a lot and it’s something you guys and gals need to listen to. Their genuine “New New School” music, self described as “Otherground Hip Hop, Live and Lyrical Rap, Digital and Dynamic with Rock, Funk, Reggae and Club influences” truly does bring something very new to the table. Their messages are clear, pick up the CD and hear for yourself. Official review coming soon.

Treat yourself to some fantastic blues! John “Broadway” Tucker, the 2006 Monterey Blues Festival Artist of the Year, and his 7 piece Broadway Blues Band will knock your socks off! John Tucker will be playing this Saturday, October 3rd, with the Broadway Blues Band at Giovane’s Restaurant in Salinas. Dinner will be served from 5-9pm, and the music starts at 9pm. You can check out the late night menu as well from 9pm to 12:30am. The cover charge for this show is $5!
