Lots of Band Cards

We recently received brand new SalinasRadio band cards (business cards made specifically to bring new bands to SalinasRadio.com)

These cards have all the info a band needs to get their bands on the air to hopefully bring lots of great new local music. These are being handed out at local shows and at local music shops such as Wise Music.

A special thanks to Pete Wise and his great (and talented!) employees at Wise Music for allowing us to put our cards up in his store and for helping promote SalinasRadio to local talent.

Rum & Rebellion

Salinas is probably the last place you’d find a band like us. The migrant knows this town for work. The literati know this town because of John Steinbeck. Servicemen remember Salinas because it was every soldier’s destination upon leave from Ft. Ord. You’ve probably had a salad with components from the Salinas Valley. James Dean died on his way to a race here.

But all that is neither hear nor there. The fact is, none of Rum & Rebellion grew up in Salinas. But this town is where we’re at right now, and that’s reflected in our music..

Cruzin'

Formed by locals Scotty Correa-Mickel and Bill Bortin, the band plays in Santa Cruz area restaurants, clubs, events, weddings and parties. Billy, Scotty & Buck all sing lead vocals and harmonies, and play guitar. Scotty also plays sax. Buck plays electric bass and mandolin, and Brad Posey recently joined us as drummer. - CruzinBand.com

Please welcome Garibai to SalinasRadio.com. Garibai is our newest artist on the air and is from Greenfield, CA.

Garibai provides us with a smooth mix of Indie, Hip-Hop, and Psychedelic sounds across an easy-listening canvas of everything from Mariachi backgrounds to 2Pac sound cuts.
